How long from seed to flower ? Same year ?
I have cuttings from above "Y" that had roots in Feb but no buds yet .
Will cuttings and / or seeds bloom faster in ground ?
Are these unanswerable questions ?

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Tonyjr,
These particular plants should have bloomed sooner.
They were about a year longer to bloom due to hurricane damage.
The good part tho is when they did finally bloom I had nice big trees :-)

I can get brugs to go from seed to bloom within a season.
You have to stay on it, but possible.
I like to wait another year or so though and subsequent blooms to evaluate selections before release.

Cuttings above the Y should bloom faster. In heat, they are slower to bloom.
Beef up your brugs now and you should see blooms in fall as it cools.
Cooler temps and more to their natural habitat conditions of fall should get them blooming.

Brugs in the ground for me put on growth alot faster.
Brugs in pots I can pay good attention usually have less growth but bloom faster for me.

Hoping this helps:-)
Alice
