Great pictures..The only one I was able to capture was blurred and every morning I look out onto the patio there it is looking back at me and I never have the camera ready but one day I saw it sitting on my Yucca tree it seemed for the longest time and I wanted so much to run get the camera but I knew he or she would be gone so I was just amazed at watching it and wondered what kind it was but it looked just like the one you captured in your pictures..

It's been an all out war today. At some point this morning, two Rufous Hummers moved in and claimed a couple of the feeders. Ever since, they've been dog fighting with every other hummer around. We've had as many as 10 hummers brawling at the same time in the yard today. It's almost scary to even stand around out there ..... LOL!

great shots! I have my couple of ruby-throats that come around regularly. didn't see them for 2 days and I really missed them. but today they're back (yeah!)
