I might have posted this in the wrong forum to begin with. I'm new to this forum.
Can anybody help me with finding this on the internet. It must be seed and not live plants. I live in Spain and things like this are hard to come by.
Here is the original post to the Tropicals forum but I think I put it in the wrong place.

Thanks for any help

Justicia carnea
Hi Lizzy, I found this site...maybe you can get some from them :)

Hi Bizzylizzy,
I have the yellow flowered one and the white flowered one flowering at the moment, if you have no luck getting seed, I will keep an eye out to see if it sets seed if you are interested.
Cheers Annette
Hi B1, Here is a link to DG picture files on Justicia carnea, both links have different pictures of the flower and the user names that posted them. Maybe you can dmail them and ask if they have seeds, or if it seeds.
Plant file for saving seed is unknown.
Hope this helps.

Hi everyone
I went to Top Tropicals but theirs is not for sale!!!!! In any case most of these places offer only live plants. A bit of a problem as I live in Spain.
Cegoins I think you have a very good plan there - Will do what you suggest.
Many thanks
Lizzy
Hi B1
Many times when you look for plants, remeber this.
Many/most Europeens flowersites and sellers use the old name as they have more of the viewpoint.........If someone found/grow/hybridized it and gave it a name THAT name is what the plant should have no matter what is found about the origin/genes/etc later.
Justicia Carnea is found under the old name Jacobinia Carnea or Jacobina Carnea.
Here is some google on pictures
http://images.google.se/images?q=Jacobinia+carnea&ndsp=20&svnum=10&hl=sv&lr=&start=0&sa=N
and here is for sites

I just got some pink ones. If they set seed I'll let you know.
Thanks for the links Janett - very useful info.
Budgielover, I appreciate your goodwill and hope that they do set seed for you.
I've grown these for a few years and I've NEVER seen any seeds on them. . . .
fyi,
Onalee
Yep...that's what I hear from everyone. It's quite strange why they dont set. Could be that they need a certain function in the wild they are not able to get when cultivated in a garden or greenhouse.....anyone got any ideas why?
Yep, the pollinator, maybe.
could it be hummingbirds - Justicia flowers are quite long throated from what I can remember.
