My daughter has a large fig tree which this year is covered with fruit. Has anyone dried figs successfully? No one in our family much likes them fresh, but we'd love to dry them if we wouldn't have to buy a special dehydrator or anything.

If you google 'drying figs' there is a lot of information available. They are wonderful fresh, cooked or dried.
