Karen, the best part of it will be when the bloom opens and with dusk upon you "he" will send out a lovely exotic scent with the evening breeze. Enjoy.

I totally know what you mean..I was blessed with my first also a few days a go and it is all worth the wait and just the smell well you know now..My hubby did the same to me, every couple minutes I was going out just to smell and was tempted to bring inside just so I could stare at it and get a whiff of the aroma.. He knows I am nuts anyway..hehe

League City, TX(Zone 9a)

Karen, I have them in ground all over my garden. Probably a dozen or so, and thanks to a good friend I am rooting some more babies. They seem to like my climate and grow to tree size. When they are all in bloom at the same time the scent will bowl you over.

I can start you some cuttings from mine.

Susan

Congrats on your first bloom and New Addiction

Karen, my first brug was Charles Grimaldi and it took way too long for that thing to bloom...I dont thnk I would recommend it for a first brug since to wait for this one to bloom is a very long time..lolol...but I have to say it is the best smelling of all the brugs...congratulations on the new brug and obsession...Judy
