Janet, do you know which Vernonia (Ironweed) you have? I have Vernonia baldwinii (Baldwin's Ironweed), but I'd be interested in V. novebonariensis (New York Ironweed) or V. missurica (Missouri Ironweed, a dwarf variety).
I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I have some veronica longifolia, different varieties of Lychnis (coronaria, chalcedonia, and yunnanensis), and some other kind of off-beat things. E-mail me if you're interested. Thanks!!!!
How easy is ironweed to start from seeds? And how/when do you harvest them? What I think is ironweed grows wild here, but I can't ever seem to find any seeds. I'd like some of any or all kinds, if you guys would do for SASE, or name some things you'd like in return. Just got my computer in my home back up and running Saturday, and I haven't gotten a chance to update my trade list yet.
