dear friend Donna grew this from seed started in 2004, they were unknown seeds (no parentage info) just freebie seeds, so she grew them out, she said her first blooms were 10/2005, since then she has given all of it away and I was lucky enough to get a snippet of it, mine is blooming now and I dearly love the shape and scent of it, holds up pretty well during day temps here and stays completely open on cooler or overcast days.
So I just had to share "Donna's White" with you all :)
Laurrie
Donna's White
Whew Laurrie, for a minute I thought you had a mis-named
Donna's Monster White.
There is so much of this going on anymore but after looking at the dates I realized it is not.
One more to add to the evergrowing list of brugs :-)
She is a pretty white and I just love white brugs the way they brighten the gardens in the evening.
I too still like the whites, so many colors to choose from now, but whites are wonderful in the evening gardens just sitting out there and smelling them.
Thanks Donna for sharing your photos!!!!
What a nice white. I'm another one who like white in the garden for the effect at night.

So pretty, my first that ever opened was a white and I love it..
Donna it looks like Monster brug lol. It is a suaveolens
How fun is this???
Thank you Donna for the awesome brug..
I called it "Donna's White" cause I thought Laurrie would know which one I was referring to when I sent her cuttings. LOL
This is one of those brugs I will never part with completely now. I LOVE it.. the scent is to die for and the blooms (not in 115 degree heat) are plentiful and near perfect to look at. Hopefully when we get some cooler weather, I'll have some better photos of it.
PS... it's big and tall like me, but not a monster.. LOL Maby just a sasquatch..
