Wonderful ! alsobia and especia they look awesome :))
Now your Golden Autumn has a lot of yellow !
One of my Annabelle's one from Eunice is all in new blooms and blueberry buds :)) I love her ! She grows in natural light in our home and does real well !

Silver Spring, MD

The alsobia and especia are growing very well. I took them from the kitchen window and put them under some light. They seem to like it. One has many buds. I am hoping for some blooms soon. Grey Lady hasn't budded at all as yet but she sure is growing.

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

Hi Nan,

Love your photos...Scrumptious is indeed a beauty! Are those Streps and Begonias miniatures by chance? They look so good too!

I sure hope my one leaf of Annabelle makes it...gorgeous!!!

How long have you had your Alsobia? It looks really great! Has it flowered yet?

TFS!!!

Joanne

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Joanne I have more Annabelle leaves and leaf cups if it does not. I fount they take a long time for babies. I don't care how long they take as long as I get healthy babies !

Drumheller, AB(Zone 2a)

Hi Allison,

Oh that is wonderful....my surviving leaf has been down since June 19th so another month or so probably before I see any little ears popping up. That one is so pretty! Well they all are but I have that one and I really do like it.

Allison you are just so kind and good to all of us!

Nanna,
ALL of those Av's & streps look just beautiful!
Fisherman's Paradise is just outstanding.

I hope I have as much luck with my streps..lol

MsC

Oh! MsC. Strep are the best. They don't need near the care as avs do. They can even take a little direct sunlight. You don't have to check the temperature of the water when you give them a drink. They are very forgiving. They like to dry out a little. I divided a big clump and got four plants and all four bloomed within weeks. I have another hugh clump that I might divide soon.

Silver Spring, MD

Hey Joanne. I think Allison sent the stolens to me about 2 months ago. Is that right, Allison

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Nanna,
I love the idea that streps are "easier" than AV's..lol
I killed the first one quickly! That was a few years ago..back in my over watering days..lol

These guys have really one shelf space with me. I love the flowers & anything that can wilt & come back to life with blooms like that has just got to be great.

I think your Av's are doing fabulous! I really enjoed the show too!!

Thanks for sharing these fabulous photos! 'Rob's Scrumptious' definitely deserves the name, and your photo of 'Fisherman's Paridise' made me go give my leaf/plantlet a good talking to -- "grow!!"

I will have to check with you to see if you have a spare leaf or plantlet of 'Rob's Mad Cat' or a spare sucker of 'Rob's Humpty Doo'. I have a couple of cute little "Humpty Who?" noids that I grew from a leaf of 'RHD'.... Do you have 'Rob's Sticky Wicket'? If not, I have a nice multi-crowned one for you! :-)

Your strep photos are also making me wonder if I can't free up a little more space somewhere... they are so gorgeous! I especially love the white and purple one. Maybe you should bring up that "huge clump that you might divide soon" next week when we get together to pot up plantlets! ;-)

Silver Spring, MD

That would be great. I think there are several (at least 5) crowns in the big one. I will have to check to see what leaves I have down. I have filled all my trays and have no more room right now.

My stickey wicket has gone to heaven. I would love one. I really miss the one I had. But I am learning that when one "bites the dust" there are at least 1000 more that are just as pretty to take its place. That sound very uncaring. Who said that!!!
