Okay--here'e the missing picture.... The first flower got attacked by mites (and was a little splotchy), which have been firmly dealt with! LOL Note the subsequent blooms are unaffected! LOL

I have a hard time not going back outside to look at these. if it wasn't dark I'd be out there right now. LOL

Brad, your excitement is contagious! Congratulations on some awesome-looking flowers! She is one-of-a-kind, isn't she? The fragrance is mild peachy; right?

Geneva, FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks, ya'll! Yep--Clare, you got the fragrance, though it isn;t strong like Aztec Gold. The colors of this flower fascinate me and it is hard to quit looking at it. :)

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

Chantell, Brad confirmed above that it is mild peachy;-)

I understand Florida Colors is out of this plant for this year - their main plant was damaged badly in Hurricane Wilma.

My Mardi Gras bloomed today :-D

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

Mardi Gras has been fairly hard to find this year
I posted on 3 forums before I came across 2.
I called Luc early and Emerson finnaly contacted me.
A generous soul from another forum sold me one with 2 tips and rooted for $20.-
How could I say no to that?
Ill be grafting a piece into my multi tree and then selling the remnants.

Thanks for that info., Hetty and Michael.
