Oh,...he paused long enough to check if we were checkin' him out......known in our greenhouse as "Languishing Larry"...

Strangely enough,...he remained in that "pose" for several minutes! He/She has become accustom to our invading the area...and calmly watches us as we pass by. Wish we could get him to tackle some of the large grasshoppers that have made their presence know this year......lots of hoppers this year!

You should see the area now,....development run amok
8 yrs ago,...when we moved here,..there were deer living on our property...foxes, coyotes, etc. would come to eat the persimmons when they dropped...... no more.
But it's still a beautiful area!
Alas! I know! My dad lives in Twin Shores and my uncles's house is in Cap's Edition, as well as my grandmother's old house). Growing up, there were only 4 houses on the entire steet (right off Cude Cemetary Road)...we used to pick buckets of black berries, get lost in the the "forests" and build forts. Not anymore. You can see right in to the neighbors bathrooms. Ahh....memories.
