Makes me itchy for more plants but right now my light benches are full of plug trays with my fall bloomers...pansies,violas,snaps,dianthus,ornamental and edible cabbages.....oh and some blue fescue and carex "Red Rooster". Too hot in the greenhouses and I HAVE to sew seeds all the time...it's an affliction.But they'll be out of here in time for all those leaves I ordered from Lyndon Lyons.TWENTY varieties 2 of each...40!!!...40 wonderful leaves to be delivered late Sept.
Ya'll need to stop posting pictures....my knee is jerking,toe's atapping,my right shoulder keeps jerking up to my ear,my eye is awinking and my tongue's hanging out the side of my mouth....soon I'll be drooling and making silly noises.....Not a pretty sight!

I run(or rather it runs me) a small perennial nursery. This time of year it's too hot to garden so business is next to nil...even from my wholesale customers so I try to find things to bring in money during my slow periods.I did 3 veggie garden this year picked and sold enough purple hulls to put down a chunk of change for sofa and loveseat for the new room hub's is finishing up for me but that's hot and back breaking work...I ain't no spring chicken. Back in the 80's I raised av's for retail and wholesale on a small scale. My customers from way back then are "finding" me again and begging for me to start selling av's again.....and I "NEED" pretties to play with during the winter or I'll have the hub's knocking out walls and remodeling the house. He's already showing signs of being muley when I suggest some re-modeling for the master bath this winter*G* Guess I'll have to start a new quilt this winter and finish decorating my new room.

I try not to do many mini's...*? Hello?*~~~~$;>} because I get caught up during my busy season and don't don't pay close attention to watering chores on the light benches so the minis suffer the most.

Yes bigred Mini's are cute but they take extra tender care..over pot them or water too much, let them dry out they
don't often forgive you.
They are fun to grow. I have some on wicks this helps !
