I was given a few bottles of nutrients from a friend that is no longer able to garden hydroponics. (due to wife's health / time issues) He gave me his "left overs" when I mentioned I'd like to try growing a few veggies this year hydroponically. He had enough FloraGro, FloraBloom and FloraMicro to get me started, but he said the bottles were a few years old and he wasn't sure if they go bad after sitting for a while.
Since there is not an expiration date on these bottles and I'm new to this stuff . . . My question is, do these go bad after a few years? Is there a "shelf life" on hydro nutrients or should they be ok to use?
General Hydroponics Nutrient System Anyone?
GH pimp here , from what GH has told me as long as there stored in a cool place they
will be fine.. i have had the green bottle turn to a tan in color and its still fine.
somthing messed up with the dye they use.
try it on a few plants and see how it does ..
I used it on some peppers (habs) and ended up with 6 foot tall pepper plants.
running about 2800 ppm of nutes.
Cool deal . . . thanks for the info . . . I guess it can't hurt to try them on a few and see what happens.
