Tir...thanks so much! I just put in several of my relatives' names and came up with over a dozen "unclaimed" accounts...mostly of deceased aunts and uncles. I will notify my cousins and get them to claim the money...mostly in the "under 50 dollars" range what I've seen thus far (the system went down for maintenance after I started)
...but hey..it's money!

I totally agree! It is pretty neat, and at least legitimate as far as the source of the site.
I was disappointed (and still elated) to find 1 relative who was owed $78! I'll be passing the info on myself.

The Dallas Morning News publishes the whole list once a year and I sift through it hoping I have something out there. :-) I did find money for an aunt once, but that's it.

No problem. I searched for a friend and found over $200!!!! Wish there was something for me. =) But I'm so careful with my cash I never even find change stuck in the couch. LOL!
