I took some pictures of one of these moths in late May in Eastern Massachusetts. How do I identify whether it is a male or female. It had a very large body, which the principal at the school (agricultural school) where I work thought most likely it was a female. Someone had found it on the ground and the principal put it up on the brick wall of the building. It stayed there for several days. (photo attached)
