What do you serve at a pity party? I'm feeling sorry for myself...slugs and/or snails chewed almost every last leaf off of one of my little wallyworld NOID begonias...there's some kind of gunk on the soil of my pot of epsicia "Silver Sheen",leaves got sunburned on a couple others ,knock a plug tray off light bench and my hub's and son just crammed some of my others up against a wall while working on my new room,breaking leaves on some.~~~~$:>{

red or white whine?
Well, phooey!!
But somewhere in there did I read that you are getting a new plant room?? Cool! Gotta admit, that sorta limits my sympathy for your current tribulations, LOL.
well....it was suppose to be just MY room for whatever but it's turned into the neighborhood gym...LOL Plenty of room for plants though.
Maybe I should ask,red or white with those worms you were suggesting I have a few of the other day....LOL~~~~$;>}#}

ooohhh.... that's right.... you were telling me about the room that's sunken so the windows look out at your flower beds, with butterflies and hummingbird feeders right at eye level. You are going to have to share some photos with us!!
To let everyone in on the worm reference... I think it might have been Mark Twain who advised, "Eat a worm first thing when you get up in the morning, and then nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day!"
Most of the ceiling went up yesterday so that's my little ray of sunshine. After weeks of yanking my hair out,I finally finalized the color scheme of a med. moss green for the wall for more of feeling of that extention of the room to the outside,a warm gold for the ceiling for of course,the feeling of sunshine,off white trim with just a touch here and there of red(not primary red but with that hint of blue)to represent my ladybugs I'll have to find some cute worm related items to work in...LOL
....and as for Mark Twain,apparently for him...fear was no factor...until you get to the cow snout and giant hissing cockroaches..hee-hee

so sad but gosh your room sounds like a dream!
april,
well like they say...when life gives you lemons...make lemonaide.Rather drink lemonaide than eat worms*G* Rhizomes of begonias are still firm so I'll cut them up this fall and make babies. Gunk on soil of epsicia(Silver Sheild/Sheen) doesn't seem to be harming it and it's make bunches of babies so I'll put them in their owe lil pots later. The av (Bob Serban or Serbin)that got sqooshed I'll use leaves to make more.
I'm still dancing around the idea of ordering epsicia"Cleopatra" for fall delivery....so many pretties....so little room until I have shelves up in new room.

The time to order Epsicas is now when it is warm. They love hot and humidity. Most Vendors stop shipping them any where after Sept. 15th.-Oct 1 st.
