bromeliads in Thailand

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

Some bromeliads from my recent trip to Thailand. Two great gardens - Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Pattaya and Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Chiang Mai. If you ever get a chance, then go visit these wonderful gardens.

Nong Nooch orchid garden was also home to bromeliads.

QS garden had separate greenhouses - ferns in one, water lilies in another, bromeliads in yet another, etc.

I see a staghorn in one of your pics too, a BIG one! I have seen incredible staghorns in Thailand pictures online when I cruise.

All your pictures are much appreciated, Butch. Thanks for going to to all the trouble to post them for us.

Hey Butch, thanks for sending me over here! BEAUTIFUL BROMS!!
I did spy that little begonia, all by itself! LOL.

Thanks for sharing all the beauties!

Have you decompressed yet? How did your begonias do while you were away?

I see the garden looks virtually the same as it did 8 years ago (last time I toured and photographed that particular garden). Fantastic garden as whole I think- one of the best in the world for sure.

Loxahatchee, FL

one of the best gardens that I have ever seen. Owner has quite a collection of all plants. I heard he wants to have one of every palm in the world.

Excelsa Inc, do you know the name of that beauty in your photo? Like all obsessed collectors 'I want one'.
