I like them all too. So Magnifique was not so Magnifique? LOL

Boy Donna, do you owe me or what. I went all the way to San Rafael Farmers' Market to pay for those 2 hibiscus you wanted. It was 115 degrees. I am not used to such heat. I thought I was going to die. And then David disappeared and I had to wait for him what seemed like forever. Had it not been for you. I would have left. I was feeling so sick. I do not know how people live where it is so hot. I HATE it. Anyway, they go out tomorrow so look for them so they do not fry.

And sadly, he had not read my email so he didn't bring me a Red Dragon. Shucks.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Black Dragon Kell. E-mail him again and ask him to hold you one for next time. Yes mam I owe you big time. Come on down and I will fix you a super meal with desert but noooooo sushi lol

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

His wife will bring it to a closer Farmer's Market next Sunday for me, Donna. I may never go back to Marin again. LOL. It was so hot. And since I was there I went to 4 nurseries too. That was all your fault too. LOL. I carried paper towels to keep the sweat from going into my eyes. How do you guys live where it is so hot? I am here to tell you, life is so much nicer where it is cooler.

Reight Donnna, Black Dragon. LOL I did get 2 more hibiscus though at another nursery. They had them in full sun and no one was outside watering. So many of their plants were looking so bad. Some of the leaves were burnt on the 2 I bought, but they had such pretty flowers I bought them anyway.

Donna, don't give up on Magnifique yet, first blooms are often less than stellar.

Kell, I don't know how people are dealing with the heat either. We have been fortunate with weather in the 80's these past weeks (of course the humidity was about 115 - only joking).

I was in NH once when it was close to 100 degrees and few buildings had AC. I almost passed out; this southern gal is spoiled and can't do without AC and sweet tea.

And Kell, I would have to rob a bank if I lived close enough to David's hibiscus. I want them all - not too greedy here. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am very needy too, Ardesia. There are 2 wholesalers selling fancy hibiscus to the nurseries here too. Nice fat plants. I can never walk by one in flower it seems.

I can really say I HATE the heat. We have no real humidity which I guess is good. But the last 2 days we have been muggy, Brought me back to my childhood in NJ. Oh how I hate it. It saps you of your strength. Today I may stay in bed watching movies with the air conditioner vent pouring down on me.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

LOL now don't go spoiling yourself Kell. Yes this heat and humidiy has been enough to make you sick. Just think I used to work out in it welding for 10 years. Talk about hotttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You had to wear jeans, steel toe boot & socks, short and long sleave shirt and if you were doing over head you wore a long sleave suade leather coat. I don't think I miss it anymore.

Work is only for the young, Donna. Esp. that work. How did you ever get into such a tough job?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I was young, thin, and full of energy lol

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Pretty pics Donna.

Oh, to be young and full of energy again.............

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I want the thin part........

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Me too. LOL. Though I would settle for any one of the 3.

When I was young, thin, and energized, I never thought there would be a day when I was fat, tired and getting so very old.

I am my mother after all.

Not sure if I want to put a smily face or a frowny one here.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

ROFL Ardesia me a frown!!!! I sure hope I don't get that scatter brained

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Ardesia!! I love it.

And I am my mother. Sometimes I am so shocked how much I am her. I find my mind saying in horror that I do not believe I just said that or just did that! LOL

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Yeah Kell, been there and said that too........
