Buckeye today

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

The oregano just keeps dragging them in.....here's a Buckeye that spent part of the afternoon hanging 'round the nectar

Want some? I've got to thin this bed down here shorty...Elena wants a hunk...I'll scoop you out some too.

Melody,

May I have some too please?

Ever since you made mention of the Greek Oregano, I've been really interested to have some for the Butterflies. Can't find any (of course) up here this late in the summer.

Love to have more to offer for the Butterflies.

Let me know how you want to be paid and how much. You can send me a Dmail.

Thanks!

I like some for trades or postage...does it invade?

One of my most favorite butterflies!

It's perennial...and while I wouldn't call it invasive...it's pretty agressive. Put it somewhere that it has room to stretch it's legs.. Mine stays in the same clump and does not wander...but it expands every year.

It stays green pretty much year-round here in south west KY, so all points south of me can count on that too.

I'll send for postage unless I see something on one of your trade lists that strikes my fancy....I haven't checked yet but chances are, being how late in the summer it is, I'll just send for postage...I don't really want to baby anything through the dry hot summer...the oregano will be fine to transplant though...it's pretty cast-iron.

D-mail me with addresses and I'll be in touch.
