#1 I lost a lot of leaves in the extreme heat and went to the shore for 3 days.A friend watered for me but not till evening after work so I was pleasantly surprised. Dixie I had a couple shoved over along the garage for shade.

It looks so green and cool at your house. Your brugs look really good considering what they've been through with the heat. So pretty. Does it smell like heaven in your yard?

Yours are looking much better than mine. I think I have wimps here. A few days of terrible heat and they all are miserable.

I can see those big buckets do great as pots. Your brugs are huge.

Yes they are big. I am doing some serious trimming for winter. I am always afraid to trim them back much for winter but this yr there getting it. I cant handle them anymore. also take too much space.

Kell. my daughter lives nest door and has a attached garage. One reason I didnt trim last yr. is because she loves the scent. They bloom quite awhile after we get them in for the winter. This yr. that big yellow one bloomed in spring before I got them outside. It had lost all its leaves over winter but still bloomed.
Judy Try walmart. I put holes in the bottom of mine. When I planted I laid a couple layers of paper towels over the holes. dixie

Oh Dixie, how did you get your daughter to stay so close to home. My kid went to the other side of the country from me. And ironically he went to where my husband and I fled from 30 years before. And to make it all worse, he loves it. I am afraid I will never get him back home and I will have to spend my old age in the cold and alternating hot East. What a terrible thought. LOL

Oriole, do you have a name for the third photo? Are those blooms tinted green? or is it my monitor. I'm a sucker for green petals on anything!

Yes I think that is a versi-peach. Ill check in the morning, It didnt have much color last yr. but I think a little more than now. Just before they are over they get a faint peach tinge. Dixie

Kell my dsughter has been next to me for abt 4 yrs. Yes I really enjoy it. Her job is always changing districts around and she says she may have to relocate. I hold my breath a lot. I have a grown son that lives with me but not as much help as my daughter. My other daughter is only 3 mi. away. My son drives truck, only home to get is wash done and make a / mess. Hes 39 going on 18. dixie

Dixie, They are blooming so beautifully for you. Shame that heat plays such a rough toll on the leaves. I like those tubs you are using for them also!!! LOL
Happy to see you are enjoying your brugs....And sharing them with us.

Oh Dixie, I hope your daughter gets to stay right there. Your son sounds like mine, not much help but has me doing his bidding by just his smile. He sure has me figured out. LOL
