Please use this thread to post when you hear of an area having a neighborhood garage sale in/around San Antonio.
I am looking for many baby items right now and often the neighborhood sales just aren't advertised in the Express. Also good to note, you can advertise your neighborhood garage sale on Craigslist.com. I just checked tonight and there were some I missed today because they weren't in the paper.
Just make sure to list the neighborhood/area (N,E,S,W) that it is.

There used to be a lot more garage sales before they made it so hard on people in S. A. Now the cost of a garage sale is too high for many individual families, so the neighborhood ones are more common than before. And now they've made it illegal to put out those signs on posts or in roadside right-of-way! I saw something yesterday...a woman was standing there by the road HOLDING UP the sign! I wonder how long she did that.

GRRR...oh I know it about SA! I cannot believe they charge for a garage sale PERMIT! And I've heard of it being illegal to post signs but um NOT IF YOU PAY FOR A PERMIT! Can you believe it? Nickle and dime. And that's about all you can expect to make from a garage sale, lol! I've been going to a couple multi-family sales but they still only fill 1 driveway. I'd love to go to one of those whole neighborhood sales! I live in Converse, don't know if they require permits.
