I went bargain hunting again......

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I got bored so went shopping....well I came home with 8 new hybrid hibiscus plants.in 8 inch pots and most about 24 inches tall or wide(depending on variety). I got em for $5 each. Curt Sinclair hybrids, purple passion, chocolate high, buckeye, ocean spray, kiss and tell, God's Grace, and some others. I may not like all of them but will see what I get.

most have buds now.

I bet they will be beautiful! You'll have to post pics when they bloom. I love hibiscus. I haven't found any good sales lately.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

oh what a lucky find Kyle. They cost me 15 bucks a piece off the website. It was good day for you to go shopping

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gosh here they are $29. I am sick with jealousy.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Now I reallllllly want to shop where Kyle shops. :-)))))

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

When I use to vacation in So. Calif (San Diego) I use to drive about 2000 in two weeks just running to nurseries, botanical gardens etc. Can't do that now with gas at this price. :-( so I content myself with shopping around here, granted I don't find all the neat things I use to bring home from out west but oh well. I'm running outta room......LOL

Whoa, you found all that locally, in Iowa ????

Here I am living in a semi tropical paradise and all I can find are the generic hibiscus. (Move over Kell, I am sick with jealousy too!)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You ae running out of room Kyle?? Your greenhouses are full? I do not feel sorry for you. LOL

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Oh. I do, I wouldn't want poor Kyle to be unnecessarily anxious or anything like that. Perhaps he would be less stressed if he sent some of his goodies to winter camp in SC this year. :-))))))))

I have to say I am one to vouch for his big heart. He sent me stuff for migraines and stuff for my back and something extra after Hurricane Rita went thru here last year. His head could never catch up with my friends huge heart. :O). LOL to you my friend.

Sandy I know exactly what you are talking about having lost everything to Hurricane Katrina. Everyone here was so wonderful to us. 2005 is a year not many people living along the Gulf of Mexico will ever forget

Kyle did you see on the tropicals forum where I posted a pic of the Canna you sent a week or so ago? Is beautiful and has more blooms coming now. It just wanted some God given rain to do its thing. Water hose just kept it alive. (((Big Hugs))) right back at ya
