There was a Blue Sunny Sparkling Morning and Everyone was dancing as I came out with Precious. The sprinkler was on the garden beds and everbody glistened with joy. I just had to go back in and get my camera !

Datura's trumpet blossom points up and the Brugmansia blossoms (normally bigger in size) points down. Easy to remeber when you think of Datura's (Devils trumpet) looking up to heaven, while Brugmansia (Angel's Trumpet) is looking down (from heaven). I have both in my garden. Brugs ususally take longer to bloom, August or Septemeber here) while my Datura's (not as nice as yours) started blooming early in the growing season and continue on. I have Lavendar colored Daturas and one that is purple and white. Datura are pretty easy to grow from seeds. Brugs can be grown from seeds, but most of mine were grown from cuttings.

Wonderful pictures Allison. You and hubby have a beautiful yard.
Thank you. We only have a few gardens in this home. Down the street we had ao many but did less here. Lot of the plants we have had for years. Hubby loves to grow them.
This garden has everything in it ! Even several Begonias and more.
Don thanks I posted the picture over in Datura forum but no one replied :((
We had some Brugs in our other yard. Our neighboor gave us this one it's really a tiny plant. The night before I asked my husband how it was doing and he said not too good. The next morning from a distance I thought it was some kind of silk plastic flower he stuck in the pot. lol
Your gardens are so beautiful, Allison! I so wish mine looked like that. In my mind they do, but in my yard, it's mostly weeds. LOL I'll get there one day though! Keep posting those lovely pictures!
Thanks Amy ! Hubby weeds them. I sure hope I get him to move a lot of it. There are garden beds over there with white rocks as the owners daughter got sick of buying plants and put plastic bags down then rocks and bought potted plants and took them. They have pretty edginh. Robert will have to extend the side gardens out several feet . The front and side has some nice raised ones with rocks , We just grow everything together and they have fun and do their own thing. Were lucky here we can grow year round.
Our Colues we have had about 5 years moved twice and took a handfull each time. Everything grows well for my husband out there !
