Having a morning drink

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

on ME! It landed on my side so I had to do a little twisting to get a pic but lucked out and got one of it drinking. I guess a little sweat and sunscreen did the trick.

Great photo with nice detail of the antennae, I have a hard time getting good ones like that using both hands and no twisting required LOL.

lol yeah . . . that's a great shot! I can imagine that was tricky . . . especially if you're tickleish :D

I had a pretty little visitor I was able to get a few shots of this AM too . . . but it was on my Red Bird of Paradise blooms - not on me ;)

I'll see if my pokey ISP will let me upload them?

I was alone in the backyard trying to get a shot of a Cabbage White butterfly, which is actually pretty rare now. If I had felt it I probably would have slapped at it thinking it was a big Bumble Bee that I was trying to avoid.

When I looked down I could see him tasting me so I was hoping that shot would not be too blurry, and I lucked out.

AND I had a visiting Tiger Swallowtail this morning too! That's rare for me too!

Oh, nice pics, both of them! I wonder, could the first be one of the hackberry kind of butterflies? Nothing like a little sweat! It's gets moisture and salt at the same time!

Very nice Jackie :)

Is this a Cabbage White by chance? I'm not sure what they're called but I don't see near as many as I used to.

This pretty little one was have'n a snack on my Gold Star Esperanza this afternoon. :)
