passiflora

Calvert County, MD(Zone 7a)

Just thought I'd post some pictures of my growing passionflower garden (all in pots). I've as of yet only had blooms on P. penduliflora, P. x Belotii and P. 'pura vida red'. I also have

P. amethystina 'minas gerais',
P. holosericea
P. parritae
P. serrato-digitata
P. arida (from seed)
P. 'coral glow'?
P. caerulea (doesn't want to bloom??)

This is P. 'pura vida red'

P. penduliflora (unfortunately, I missed the first bloom, but there's a lot more where it came from :)

Both are beautiful. This is one of my favorite vines.

I love the leaves on the 3rd one

Thanks! I love the leaves too :) like little duck-feet or something. They also have little dots down the veins.

P. holosericea (finally! new growth! )

(the new growth seems to always look slightly unhealthy though... I wonder if this is normal...)

Definately! I have looked all over the internet but not been able to find but a few good pictures of this passiflora... When it blooms, I'll take lots of pictures, as I'm curious as to how it looks in real life and how big it is.

Well, here it is! Passiflora penduliflora starting to open... not sure how wide the flower opens but boy are these tiny! Maybe an inch and a half across at this time. I don't think it's fully open, though.
