Thanks Kell! And thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. Today is going to be a very special one indeed.
It is my birthday, 36... nothing terribly exciting... But,
Today Satori has a meeting with a team of wish granters from Make-a-Wish!!!! So she gets the wish today, what more could i wish for. We only told her about it a few days ago, we wanted her to be able to think it over, but not be so far away that she went crazy waiting.
I am going to go have tea in the garden with Jeremy while the girls are still asleep and things are still calm around here :)

Gosh I hope you told her to wish BIG!!! LOL. You will have to let us know what she wishes for, Melissa. I think I too will go our for tea in the garden. Tom just left for work so I will go with my cat.

BIG it will be! Satori has decided that she wants a playhouse. We have been hoping to build her one, but for her to get around in it in her chair and still have room to play it has to be at least 10 x 12, so it was on "the list". Her garden came first and now that that is (almost) done we were going to start saving for the playhouse.
She picked out this really cute picture of a little garden cottage. I am not sure exactly how much say we will get in the design of the structure, but i know Make-a-Wish is really good about letting the kids make as many decisions as possible. She wants a little porch on it and a flower garden in front and wants it decorated on the inside in either a big cat and wolf theme (she LOVES panthers, tigers, leopards etc.) or a fantasy unicorn fairy type thing... Maybe both. LOL
She loves to paint and draw and her very favorite thing of all is to write, so she wants a place in her playhouse to put her art supplies and her writing stuff. She also told me she wants a sign to hang on the door that says "No Sydney allowed" She then told me she wouldn't put it up very much. "Just when I need quiet to write" she said. LOL

Tori found out today that her wish has been approved by Make-a-Wish and she will be getting her play-house for sure. They are looking for a contractor now, hopefully by the end of the summer it will be built.
She is SOOOO excited!

Kell, I am hoping it will at least have electricity so that we can put a space heater in when it gets cold.
She is really getting exited. She found out yesterday that a local contractor has already donated a book shelf and drafting table. She is busy trying to decide on a decorating theme, :) our house doesn't even have a "theme". She has gotten very specific on what flowers (day lilies and roses) i am to plant in her front yard too! Of course i don't know beans about either one. LOL
