DH and I planted a small garden this year at our new home. 1 tomato plant, some green beans, and a cucumber plant. They have all been growing like crazy! So, yesterday during our heat wave I told DH I wanted to check on the plants to see if there was anything ready to pick. I was so excited to see 4 HUGE cucumbers - my first! Before I even had a chance to take a picture, DH had given them all away to our neighbors, who were thrilled. Oh well, guess I will have to wait a few more days for the next ones ready to get a picture (and a taste!!!) LOL

That's crazy! Bad DH! The gardener should ALWAYS get the first fruit! You must like your neighbors. :)
