I was out watering AGAIN last night and I saw buds, lots of them, on four brugs, they are tiny right now but that is good so maybe they will be blooming next week when my son is here.
WHOOO HOOOOO
The buds have started
Wow- that's a lot of buds! They're going to look awesome when they're in bloom- don't forget to take more pictures for us. :) This is my first year with brugs and fortunately thanks so some WONDERFUL D.G. traders three of them have blooms!!! I'm so excited to see them. :) It got really, really windy last night and started to storm so I brought them all inside from the front porch LOL. I didn't want to risk them flipping over and crushing a bloom. :)
Oh Kareoke, how EXCITING! I had a Super Nova my first year, but alas, I murdered it. Involuntarily, of course. So I never got to see blooms. Please post a pic with a pop can or quarter or something so we can see the "super" part! Thank for sharing - AuntB
OK AuntB but it may be awhile as you can see the buds are very small, this will be the first year I have had this one to bloom.
Good Going!! The weather has been terrible for everyone! Maybe things will change soon!
How are the buds coming along today? What day next week does your son arrive? Thank goodness it's supposed to be cooler this weekend!
Oh Doris, finally!! I sure hope they grow fast for you. I have found here that in the warmer weather the buds seem to grow faster. Bu if your boy is anything like mine, I would care they were blooming for him much more than he would care to see them. LOL
kell you are sooooo right. LOL
Indiana_lily, he flies in Sat morn. and flies out Sun. evening.
The buds are growing, and last night we got 2" of welcome rain, and it has cooled down so things are looking up.
A lot of my leaves are looking mottled, I have sprayed them several times, can't find anything on them, a lot of them I am just taking off.
I think the heat does that to them, plus they are putting out a lot of energy producing their blooms. I remove leaves when I see they are stressing so the energy goes to the bloom, can't wait to see yours.... anxiously awaiting with you -B
Yes, we need to see lots of blooms at your house, Doris!!
