I can't wait til my astilbe gets big blooms on it like yours. Right now they have an itty bitty one. lol. I want big and showy. Oh well, can't have everything. lol

Yeah, I think they would. Mine isn't much bigger than last year because it got bit by the heavy freeze earlier in the spring but it still sends out runners.

Wow! I wish mine would send out runners. Maybe as it gets a bit older? Mine is about 3 years old. I just notice that it's getting a bit wider, but not what I would call running. That would be wonderful!
