Calling all Victoria (BC) DGers

For the past couple of years have been watching a tiny shoot from my daughters black bamboo. In March of this year I put wire around it (deer) and was looking forward to finally digging it on my next trip out there. Well,,,,,,, this past weekend my @#$ son-in-law dug it to put in a surprise fountain for my daughter.

Grrr... Melissa immediately put it in a bucket of water. I've now asked her to pot it up and am asking if someone can go and collect it and maybe sink it into their garden somewhere safe. She lives just off MacKenzie near the Red Barn.

Bribery in lily bulbs. Tell me what you want.

Neepawa Lily Festival this week , plus watering watering waterng all the gardens around. Terrible heat trying everything. All this means haven't been on the computer.

So, in a word, yes, it is the house on Shorncliffe. If you are willing to pick it up and look after it, I would be very happy. I'll have to wait till I hear from her again. There is a nanny there but Sebastian does go to 'classes' -not yet 2 yrs old - at Gordon Head so don't know which days they are at home. Will check and get back to you.

Ginny, you're in luck, Cooper doesn't give the bamboo a second glance. Let me know which day to go by, we're away as of July 31st for 3 weeks. We've got heat now, to darn much of it for my liking, I'm like a limp noodle.

Thank you so much. I'll call Melissa tonight to find out where she will put it. I think the best place is by the Rhodo just outside the garage door. On the RH side as you walk up to the garage door.
