New member and a request

Bristol, CT(Zone 6a)

Hello
I finally subscribed and Im so glad i did. Everyone seems to be so knowledgeable on gardening.
I do have a request. I planted 9 hybrid tea roses (First prize, Queen Elizabeth
and Peace. I am having a major problem with blackspot. It has completely
defoliated 2 of my Peace roses and damaged most others. What should I do
about my 2 Peace roses?
I have bought 2 different fungicides and am waiting for the weather to cool
off a bit before spraying. Has anyone else in CT had the same problem? Any
pointers in what I should do? I read using alfalfa tea promotes basal growth
and am wondering if I should use this tea on my defoliated bushes.
Thanks for reading and happy gardening. Lee

welcome here! Black spot seems to be a bummer so far I'm lucky and have not had to deal with it. However I know there are lots of help in the rose forum!

Thanks everyone for the help.
I just sprayed my roses with Immonex.
Hopefully that will help with the blackspot
problems. I also fed the roses with manure tea.

I just bought some Messenger and hope that will help
too.
