two new kittens - ferral mother

I adopted 2 new kittens yesterday that my sister saved 2 weeks ago. The mother took care of them for awhile but is not around any longer. I think they are about 4 weeks old. The kittens are very loving and are purring already and sleeping on my lap. Is there anything special I should know about kittens born to a ferral mother?
