A summer bouquet

Vancouver, WA(Zone 7a)

I made a bouquet this afternoon and couldn't figure out where to post pictures of it. I figured this forum would be the best one since the featured flowers are gladiolus and lilies. Here's an overall picture of the bouquet in the vase.

A close-up of some of the lilies. I believe these are GOLDEN STARGAZER.

A close-up of the glads. I'm not sure which variety these are as they came in a mix.

A close-up of another lily I used. I can't remember which one it is for sure, but I think it's an Orienpet called SHOCKING.

I even used Calla Lily foliage for some of the filler. You can see the spotted leaves on the left and right-hand sides. Please excuse the diaper wipes and sippy cup in the background. I'm a stay-at-home mom! LOL!

Beautiful! I love fresh bouquets in the house - you produced a gorgeous combination!

Thanks. I don't usually cut my flowers as I enjoy them so much outside. This bouquet started off as one broken gladiola stem and grew from there. I guess I got carried away! LOL!

You've got the touch for making lovely bouquets. You wouldn't want to see mine. lol

You did a beautiful job!! The reason I have planted so many glads and lilies (and planning to plant even more!). DH and I both enjoy the flowers indoors, and these are two of his favorites. I am thinking about just a cutting garden one of these days. (When it gets a little cooler, LOL) Thanks for sharing!!

Glads are great for bringing indoors. This year I planted about 300 of them in hopes that I would have enough for bouquets and to enjoy outdoors.

Lovely bouquet flowerfrenzy, now I see why you have that name! 300 glads, whew that's a lot!

You must have some interesting glads with that many, could you show us some more of them?

Yes, I want to take pictures. The ones in the bouquet are the only ones blooming at the moment, however. They are earlier than all of the others.

Thanks for the compliments on the bouquet! It was fun to do.
