Wow, gorgeous!

Very pretty. They are huge!
I hope the weather is getting back to "normal" for ya!
well indiana_lily as you know this Indiana weather has been the pits, no rain, too much rain, too cool now way too hot in the 100s but maybe the Brugs will survive.
I know you are proud more of your brugs have decided to wake up.
Ruth
Here, it's just gotten progressively hotter since the beginning of June. The rain has been sporadic, though. Friday night we had bad storms and my area got around 5 inches of rain in a matter of a few hours.
Is this the one that was in the newspaper last year Doris? I sure hope your brugs shape up. We love you here on the brug forum. You have been so much fun as you fell in love with these flowers. So many seem to be having trouble with them.
sorry to say none of my other brugs have buds yet and I was so wanting to show them off to my son next week end, he is flying home for my birthday.
I am still in love with them kell but the weather is giving us some tough times, like indiana_lily said 5" of rain then temps in the 100s
I'm sorry that you can't show off the brugs for your son, Doris. Where does he live? That's very sweet that he's flying in for your birthday! It should be a great time for you, blooms or no blooms.
This weather is bound to break at some point!! I came home to a completely wilted Isabella, thick stems and all! Thinking about bringing her inside until this heat breaks.
My son lives in Farmington CT.
Do you have any of your brugs with the new leaves on the top all dried up and shriveled, more like it is lacking water, but the rest of the plant is fine. I am convinced it is the sun "cooking" them, but I have too many to bring them all in.
I've always wanted to visit CT. Actually, all the northeastern states for that matter! Problem is, I'm afraid to take real "vacations," because of what I'll find when I get back to work!
I have one or two new leaves on Isabella that are a bit shriveled. The funny thing is that she only gets about 4 hours of sun in the late morning/early afternoon. The others, Whiskers, Suaveolens Yellow, Enchanted Double White, and Double White all get sun for most of the day and they don't show any signs of stress in all this heat and humidity. The true test will be Thursday when it gets to 97 degrees and 45% humidity.
They most certainly have every right to wilt in this weather, because I feel like I'm wilted after being outside for just a few minutes!!
