Meteor showers

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

I bought this one a while back and have been waiting for it to bloom. The plant itself is somewhat sprawling. The flowers are blue/purple blotched.

Named appropriately! Looks like it's exploding with tiny stars. A gorgeous blossom.

Morning,

I just looked it up in FC2 and this is the description it has for your Meteor Showers.

Meteor Showers (8533) 11/09/1996 (S. Sorano) Semidouble medium blue star/pink and rose fantasy. Dark green, ovate, quilted/red back. Large

That's a stunning bloom! I can't get over that blend of colors and the sparkles! It does look like meteor showers.... against a backdrop of northern lights! WOW!!

A couple of my "large standard" varieties quickly shot out leaves on long stems and looked "sprawling" and leggy, but the crown soon produced more leaves, and the plant filled in. I'm sure yours will do the same!

Wow! Good job. That's gorgeous.
