Sunflowers

All of my sunflowers have come and gone. What do I do with the plants and the what is left of the flower?

You could harvest the seed,for yourself to eat, or for the birds and squirrels.
The plants you can chop or shred and put them in your compost pile.
We shredded a few of them ourselves today.
