Looks like we're in for a scorcher of a week - 105 real feel and although other areas reach these temps, with our humidity, it can be brutal !!

So, drink your fluids and watch out for yourselves and the elderly who may not have the best resources to stay cool. Take your breaks in gardening endeavours and have a great week!!

Thanks for advice. I just got thru looking at the weather for this upcoming week and it's goon be miserable! I may have to take my dog to the river for a dunk. I may have to get in myself.

Agreed!! My "poor" dogs wouldn't know what it was like to be outside for any length of time...at least this time of year...but boy would they love that river you speak of!!!

Things are definitely cooling off here in Frederick, Dea. When we drove into downtown for dinner, my car thermometer said 98 degrees. On the way home, an hour and a half later, it was reading 71 degrees. NICE! Although some pretty heavy lightning and thunder. . . .

beautiful dogs! We got a really bad storm last night,but it didn't seem to cool things off very much. But goin to New River is one of our favorite summer past times. Great play time and place.

Thanks for the warning Dea. Chantell, I loved the pic of your pups. I too have three mutts laying here in the air conditioning. Yours cannot be any more spoiled than mine are.
