I received this plant from our German neighbor who called it an Edelweiss Daisy. It is a well-behaved and somewhat unusual shasta daisy (at least I had never seen one like it). I divided it several times and now have too many plants I have about 15 plants that are about 5" pot size available for trade.
Here is a photo: http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/41687/
I would like to trade for anything on my want list: http://home.comcast.net/~tahota/trade/want.htm or other zone 5 hardy perennials that tolerate some or complete shade.
Have: Leucanthemum x superbum 'Esther Reed'
I think I have some Helianthus tuberosa at my other house. I'll look when I am down there later today. :)
I have euphorbia cyparissus; cyparissus 'fen's ruby'; lathyris; x martini
For shade I have variegated violets: viola 'mt. fuji'; helleborus foetidus
I have a large leaf Hosta. The plant gets quite large and blooms purple flowers. I just don't know what it's called. I'm trying to get it identified in the hosta forum. I've included a photo of it.
Or I have some Variegated iris with purple flowers.
If by chance you're interested in both, I wouldn't mind having your
Penstemon virgatus 'Blue Buckle' as well.
Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks, Joy
