Austin Water Garden tour

China Spring, TX(Zone 8a)

Anyone going? My DH and I are coming on sun.real early. It's a 2 hr. trip so we'll leave early tomorrow. Looks like there's some nice looking ponds on there. Wish I could do the whole thing, but 30 ponds is a lot to tour. I have to work today til noon and it would be 3 before we got there and it's over at 5. So, tomorrow it is. Might have to stop off at a gardening store while we're t here. Any suggestions for some "deals" going on????????

Red Barn Nursery off 183 is having a 50% off sale on "grower's overstock." A group of us were there Monday and got some nice, fresh stuff. They had huge carts of perennials, etc. I'm sure there's a few ponds on the tour out that way! We're on our way to lake to mow and water this morning, but will be back in this evening. If you need a place to "park" your purchases while you tour tomorrow....stop by. Sandi

Maybe we'll see you guys there. Thanks for the hyperlink. I pulled up the tour route and printed it out. We'll start at the Roundrock area first and work our way into Austin. We'll finish at Central Market or Whole Foods, whichever we are closest to. Thanks for the offer to park my goodies. Hilary
