We have lots of cardinals and squirrels and if the squirrel upsets the birds they yell at him and sometimes attack. It's kinda funny to watch them when they all get going.

I recently returned from a 3 week stay in AR. While sitting at the kitchen table one day and looking out the window, I saw a squirrel under the bird feeder. He was so cute, laying on his belly, legs out behind him, just eating his heart out. He must of laid there for a good 15 minutes. Then he got up onto the birdbath and got himself a drink and got back down and laid down again and ate and ate and ate.........
Neat! Mine seem territorial. I never had two at the feeder at a time and they chase each other from the flowers.
It is so cute when they lay like that. The little ones did that all summer. Especially in the grass.
I have been seeing as many as 10 around the feeder at one time......they are always defending territory and hard to photo usually just a blur on camera, but these photoed fairly well today
Oh my! I'm lucky if I see one at a time and at the flowers, never at the feeder.
