a peach pie story

Southern Mountains, GA(Zone 6b)

Not a recipe...just a pie story. This afternoon I spent and hour making a beautiful mile high peach streusel sour cream pie. A thunder storm passed by just as I put it in the oven, knocking off the power for about an hour. Two hours later, I took out a beautiful golden brown peach pie running with juices and fragrance. I tried to remove the foil drip sheet from the bottom of the pie pan so it would take a nicer picture to send my son. The foil stuck, the pie flipped and landed face down on the kitchen floor. It also landed on a freshly washed kitchen rug and my sneakers. ( I did scrape some off the floor and eat it, don't tell anyone.)
Oh well, it's only a pie and at least no one is bombing me.
