And a close up of the Kaawananakoa twins (Kyle I hope I spelled that one correctly).

I love this one; it is so refreshing and it just looks cool on one of our 90 degree days.

Just gorgeous! I have zone envy... My plants dont look like that until August here in Slow-hio...of course, I suppose it could have something to do w/ the gardener...

What a great day for you! I must admit Kaawananakoa twins is my favorite there. I would love to have that one. But all are a beautiful sight.

Ardesia where did you get your Kaawananakoa? I did a google search and didn't come up with anything. It is beautiful, I'm going to have to have one of those. Great pictures and very blooms.

I got my start from a generous trader here on DG. It is one of the older varieties and personally I think the oldies have a lot more vigor than some of the new and admittedly beautiful hybrids. Both the leaves and the flowers on this plant have real substance. I love it.

Beautiful neighbor! I love that Kaawananakoa too!. If you let some go to seed, please keep me in mind.

Wonderful pictures! I favour these type flowers, such as Hollyhocks, Rose of Sharon, etc.
