The photo will show the two ugly air conditioner/heating units that "grace" our backyard, near the stairs to the garden. How to disguise them, particularly since they are quite close to the stairs. I'm thinking some sort of tall trellis/lattice work that I can train something "up," rather than trees of shrubs, since space is somewhat limited. But what do I know? I'm the novice landscaper here! I'm aware that I need to consider repair-access, which is why anything I buy or build will be only three sided. One unit, or several trellises?
In the spirit of previous posts, I am including my dogs in the picture.
