THIS is so cool. I get to write about what I got in the MAIL and how FAB it is!!!
Well...Ms. Kitty sent me one of those battery operated sprayer bottles (my arthritic fingers love you) AND AND AND enlargements of her photographs of...well..just blew me out of the saddle. They photos (10 x 16 - or thereabouts) are sitting on the island in our kitchen and everytime Bob (humbled amateur photographer) walks by he says..."WOW...how does she....?"
Ann, they are beautiful!!! The photograph of Jennifer we are going to frame for Jennifer, Bob's daughter for Christmas. The others, I will frame for ME. You are so generous to send them....WOW -
Can't wait to load that battery powered sprayer and hit the WORLD!!!
Have you sent your photos to Ann Wayman for her book....?
Aloha...
BONANZA!!!!!!!!
Oh very cool :)
Great score Carol. You deserve it. I love the idea of a big framed hoya flower. Now you can have flowers inside too. Ha. My family already thinks Ive gone a little dipsy with this obsession. If I started hanging pics of the flowers around, they would start feeling my head. Ha. But then again...who cares?
Marcy
Awwww, shucks! Thanks Carol.
I'm with you Marcy ... put up photos of blooms, so that when winter comes, we still have something to look at.
Hi Carol
Those pictures sound lovely!!
Do you know where she got the battery powered sprayer? Sounds like a neat little tool we should all have.
Bea
Hi, Bea. I got it at Home Depot in their garden section. The brand name is Cepia. There were three different models available at the store. The first is a whole unit of a 1/2 gallon bottle and a battery-powered sprayer, the second is a battery-powered sprayer that can fit onto a gallon sized milk jug, and the third is a big sprayer and water tank on wheels. The first two ran around $9 each, while the third was around $40. I will say this, I love, love, love them, but they are real battery-eaters, so make sure you use rechargeables or you will spend lots of money on replacing the regular batteries. Since I mist around four times a day, I found that the batteries last about 3-4 days, then they have to be recharged.
Ann
Yes...one set lasts about my Greenhouse...but I love it!!!!
Thanks ann!
I am heading to WA. in another week I will definately look for one or two. I like to have spare ones of most things as I set them down and loose track of where I left it:)
