I notice that every time my H. cinnamomifolia blasts (just did it again)...the whole peduncle falls off. Is this normal for this species or is mine being weird on my? I know there are some that do this, I just am not sure that is one of them. I thought most of those big leafed ones hung on to them.

The peduncles on my cinnamomifolia usually stay but had one or two that fell off in the past.
