I have "My Special Angel" - it is easy to root in peat moss, dislikes any direct sunlight, & is very durable. I have had it for a couple of years, & it is huge!
Let me know if you would like some cuttings...

I have My Special Angel it's growing crazy and always blooming in our shade garden.
I have essie hunt in the house along with Connor, Strawberry Creme, Star of Bethelhem, Edge of Sunset.
I have Irene Nuss and others growing outside ,

Guilford, CT(Zone 7a)

I bought My Special Angel from Logee's - I assume it is the actual name. When I bring mine indoors for the Winter, it continues to bloom for another month or two. Very easy Begonia - easier to root than most. Just stick a cutting in damp peat & wait a month - it starts out slow in growth, but picks up once it is established in the soil.
I have shared this plant with many DG'ers :)

Jrush, I'd love to trade for myspecial angel, I'd really rather make the postage worth our effort and trade for more than one item though,

violet sending you a message ok

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

There's one named Connor? oh, I would love to see that, it's my grandson's name, I may have to find one.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

If I was lucky enough to have a grandson, especially one with some plantnamed for him, I'd be having that plant too LOL

hope you can get someone to send you some cuttings.

I have several large orders of Begonias coming ! They grow so easy here in Florida Hubby takes care of them outside. THey sing with happeness out in this humid Sunny Florida growing like beamstalks and flowering crazies :))
When my new ones come I will grow you cuttings of all of them :))
Plus the other ones we already plants ! Strawberry Creme and Edge of Sunset are growing fast and pretty foliage and becoming a couple of my favorites .

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

oh boy my mouth is watering,

I'll kee p this in my thoughts for a future trade when you get yours in,

I made an order to, but it's not coming in till august sometime and I only ordered cuttings, so it will probably be a while before I can take cuttings off of cuttings LOL But I have other begonias I can always trade,

I got yours rooting now, temps in the greenhouse are l07 and l20 outsid ethe greenhouse in full sun, l02 in the shade today, nothing is doing well because of the extreme heat wer're having.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

WOW God Bless you with that heat. Oh my. Sure is hot, It's 90's here and wow hot A/C runs non-stop but we have loads of humidity . And rains and thundred storms. Lucky for me they grow fast inside and out.
Don't worry if they grow slow we have a long time to ship before it gets cold .
