plans for a small hutch

Belleview, FL

Does anybody have or know where I where I can find some plans for a small (maybe 6' X 6') hutch for a couple of turkeys? I can build stuff by plans, but no too good without plans. The size is not critical, but no bigger than 6 x 6.

I have looked for several weeks now on the net and can't seem to find anything. I do not want anything fancy, just a plain hutch for a couple of turkeys.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No plans here, but I would want more room for turkeys.

Thanks...but, as I previously stated......I just want the hutch big enough for a couple of adult turkeys.

gs, I saw plans from Storey Books and some from McMurray Hatchery. I had best luck finding plans from my cooperative extension and from poulty books at the public library. Good luck! Do you want a movable coop or a stationary one?

I was kinda figuring on a stationary one; in fact, a portable one never even crossed my mind. It would have some advantages, tho. So, I guess I would look at both. I will check out the county ag extension...thanks for the help, Zeppy

I have a friend who keeps his turkeys in the chicken "tractor" (moveable coop) from Mother Earth News and they do very well and always have fresh grass. He often has chickens in with them as well. http://www.motherearthnews.com/DIY/2003_February_March/Building_Mother_s_Mini_Coop

If you search the forums for "chicken tractor" you'll find lots of pics of them and ideas. I have one myself.
