Medusa Head
Euphorbia flanaganii
'ordinary' plant growing 'out of control' in garden, throwing a crest suddenly. Southern California
Medusa Head (Euphorbia flanaganii)
is the big flat thing a part of the plant too?
yes, it's a naturally occuring crested part
ah thank you for the quick respons :), how much do you know about this plant? because iv'e planted a few cuttings and they have rooted, do u know how the plant will look when it starts to grow?
happy new year :)

not sure how you found that first photo, but here's some shots of the plant:

http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/b/Euphorbiaceae/Euphorbia/flanaganii/cultivar/0/ well i guess this got me confused, but its a "hair"/branch from the reg plant that i planted, do u know how the plant will look?
It may not form a large caudex like a plant from seed would... might look more like the plant in the photo you found originally- a lot of fingers coming up all over
i see, well i guess we're just gonna have to w8 and see what comes out. thanks for the help :)
