Dripping Springs, TX(Zone 8b)

Just wondering what everyone else's favorite brug is mine is without question mountain magic it constantly puts out blooms seems to be relatively heat tolerant (compared to my others) and just looks healthier than my others.

Of the ones I have I guess this is my favorite for now. This is from seed I grew out and I just love the deep pink.
This is RK x Balao........

I've only had a few of my plants bloom so far but of those my favorite is Taylor Dawn. My MM bloomed this morning too. While the color is much better on MM... I just love the frilly skirt of Taylor

My favorites are the ones that bloom during the summer months of our awful heat and humidity. One that never fails me is Creamsickle. I have a small cutting of MM rooting now and I am anxious to see how it does for me since Ted says it does well in the heat.

Without a doubt the x candida pink that I received from NHE as a trade in 1998 has been my favorite through the years. It withstands drought and neglect. Incredibly pest resistant. Produces tons of side shoots. Makes beautiful trees as well as bushes. Flowers heavily and frequently. Shows many shades of pink throughout the flowers life ranging from prissy girly pink to coral pink, year round no matter the temps. I love the shape that resembles Ecuador Pink. A trooper in the highest temps and in full sun. Flowers do wilt in the heat of the day but that doesn't bother me.

this my first year with brugs and so far it looks like I,m only going to keep the MM and one called Earth Angel dont know if its just bad plants (ebay) or what but none of the other varieties are doing to well, im giving a butterfly a chance and maybe a double white but my vixin,Ep,MT,and a couple of unknowns are all probably going into the trash.dont even trust em for the compost bin

My favorite brug ever was one I grew from seed that has no name. It was a Suave cross and was so very healthy as well as extremely intoxicating scent wise. Miss that beauty.
