My faithful egg layer, who has seldom missed a day since starting to lay eggs, which was this past fall, has missed 2 days now. I'm thinking she's hiding them somewhere, now that the rooster has started doing his job. I tried keeping an eye on her this morning, but didn't notice where she all went. I'll have to watch her even closer tomorrow. Just when I figured I could start collecting a few eggs from her for the incubator. :(

She's acting normal, though? Not puffy or squatting?
Yes, she's acting normal. Comes 'running' when I go out. Checks out the feed or the 'bugs' that I 'stir' up. Taking a 'dust' bath and still bossing all the others around.
If everything seems okay with her behavior, maybe she's just on strike! :)
Finding any yet?
Yes, I did get one from her yesterday. It was in a different nest box then she always layed in. I've only got 1 other hen laying right now and that's a White Silkie, so they are easy to tell apart. I haven't checked this morning, yet.
