A couple days ago IE6 started having fits on my new laptop, keeps stopping while it loads a page & I do ctl/alt/del only to have it say running until I end task and then get a not responding. I spent all day yesterday hunting for and trying all the fixes I could find, from virus/spyware checks (none) to registry edits, to system checker. Nothing worked. I have all the current fixes, patches and service packs, so I don't know what the problem is. I have decided to just walk away from the problem because the only solution I have found that I have not tried is to reinstall win xp. Not gonna happen over IE. So I installed Foxfire and it is really not that different looking, so I think I will adapt quickly, but I have run into an issue that really bugs me and am hoping there is a solution.
In the Bookmark section, it is sorting different. IE always put folders first, then individual links after that. I really like it that way but cannot find a way to do it on foxfire. Am I missing something? Is this something I just have to live with? Or do I just have to stop being lazy and get all those loose links into folders? LOL
